Bread & Wine Ministries is in the process of building fasting and prayer cabins and we are going green! Each cabin will be built with a green alternative and we aren't seeking any funds from anyone. God has already provided! Wow!
Some things you may see as we go along is earthbag construction, rammed earth, cordwood, strawbale, cob, solar panels, composting toilets, wind generators, and led lighting. Each will be built by inspiration! We will soon put up a blog just for everyone to laugh and cry with us! We will put a blog up soon that will give everyone a place to comment and participate. What fun!
We have started this year and are gathering our supplies. The land we are using is located in Missouri and offers senic views, creeks, ponds, a variety of wild life, hills, valleys, and even an indian cave! We plan on making a baptismal Sea of Galilee and use water noise to add to the meditation and fasting atmosphere. There will also be a new blog up soon and it will be linked to the website and posted on the forum.
One of our plans is to establish our own transportation that will consist of buses coming and going from the Kansas City airport so all you have to do is fly in to Kansas City and get on the bus! Leaving will be just as simple! How cool!
Hopefully soon many will come and seek the Lord. They will spend quality time with God and take long walks with Him in between the winding paths and wildflowers coming to rest in their quiet little rustic cabins which will vary by design and features. Native plants along with edibles, wild flowers, and fruit trees will surprise the visitors as they move from one quiet resting area to another.
Some cabins will be nothing more than a room with a place to put your sleeping bag while you fast and pray and others will offer heating and cooling and other features for longer stays.
Church services and healing and deliverance will be available according to the number of people that come and may eventually be offered every day of the week but is of course optional to all who will come to the prayer mountian to fast and pray.
