Exorcisms

Ask any born again, Spirit filled believer and they will tell you that they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are supposed to cast out demons as part of and in fulfillment of the great commission of Jesus Christ. Ask them how to do that and most don't have a clue. Most likely, you will hear a pleathora of descriptions as to how this could, will, or should take place.This is not good news for the body of Christ.

Exorcisms are attempted by a wide range of people, religions, and spiritualist. It isn't an act just reserved for those who bear the name Christian. Just do enter the word 'exorcism' into any search engine and you will see how many versions there are! It is amazing!

However, most are not successful and many are completely imaginary while some are beyond dangerous.

One person told me that when they after being constantly harrassed by their dead loved one, that they had an exorcism done on them by a spiritualist. After the spiritualist went through their onslaught of rituals, the oppressed individual was told to not speak to the spirit anymore. They were informed that the spirit would simply go away. Now.......it isn't really hard to understand that that may be a bit of ignorant advice, much like telling an ostrich to stick its head in the sand and the world would go away.....also, not surprising that it really didn't help the oppressed a bit either!

If you ignore ghosts/spirits, they don't just go away. I'm sure spirits would appreciate it if you always let them lurk in the shadows of your life and would just go on pretending that they weren't there. They work the best that way. It is more efficient for them.

So what is a real exorcisms anyway? Who needs an exorcism and who doesn't? Who is qualified? Can just anyone do one and if so, how?

One of the things I'd like to point out here is that in Jesus's day, they didn't lock the insane up. They didn't tuck away the severely oppressed like we do in today's age. This was one reason the disciples found so many severely oppressed people.

Are we really helping them by locking them up? As the church rings its bells and sings its hymns, those who were sent to those places and assylums take their next dosage of medication to keep them quietly oppressed, they get their brains fried, and the good Christians go to work and pay their taxes to make sure the oppressed never get released. Sounds like a win win for the devil and I can't see how any of this glorifies the Father.

This is the sad, real picture. May God have mercy on us and lead us to a better way.

Part of the problem is that the church in general doesn't even know what a demon is let alone how to deal with one. I recently discovered that the person who is considered by Pentecostal churches as their 'top' exorcist and even had a show recently, knows who demons are and won't say publicly, but continues to call them the demon of fear or doubt, etc. Why? One reason is that he makes about $5,000 per deliverance and who would come to him if he told the truth? What have we become? A people who love not the Truth!.......that is not a good thing, seeing that that is who God is. Are we a people who put price tags on our God? Like Judas? This is not a good sign for the believers when we sell the Truth.

Have you noticed that people generally only believe what they like or want to? Perhaps this is why many live in a constant state of confusion and why so many are following demons in Jesus name, calling Him Lord, but obeying a demon.

Demons have designed nearly all exorcisms themselves, which is why they don't work. Here is a list of exorcism techniques I came across while surfing the web: Please do not do any of the following...they are ludicrous and designed by demons for demons and hurt people.....This is just a sample of some of the 'bad' advice out there on the web:

1. Force a brick into the possessed persons mouth (for vampire spirits...OUCH! )
2. Light a candle and stick it up the possessed person's nose
3. Hold the possessed down and read the Torah to them, non stop for 3 days
4. Beat them up
5. Scream and yell at the demon in the person
6. Command the demon to shut up and then proceed to yell at the possessed person
7. Explain to the demon that its lost and tell it to go to the light

8. Prayers to other saints (false gods or demons in other words) for help

I noticed during my research and reading that the Catholics have a very high failure rate too but are considered more help then spiritualist. It is almost unheard of for a spiritualist to get good results, but then again, you have demons casting out demons whereas at least with the Catholic they have the name of Jesus. But the return rate is high plus most Catholic exorcists are known to suffer or die early in life.

Their biggest problem is that they aren't Spirit filled. So the demons enter them during and after the exorcisms. This is why it is well know within the Catholic church that an exorcist can be a rather 'short lived' career choice.

Exorcisms are when angels throw out demons. That is what an exorcism is. If you want a demon to stay out, that is what 'repentance' does. If you want to be possessed, then by all means, sin! It is that simple.

Angels uphold the Word/Truth. If you were to have Truth in you, devils couldn't stay.

Exorcisms done without the Word are pointless. Because you are calling them to you when you sin/move from demonic thoughts. There must be a renewing of the mind in the area where the demonic spirit is able to enter from.

You can't just cast out all the demons out of a person and make them well because the demons will just come right back the moment that person acts on the sin/wrong thinking that let them in in the first place.

Healing begins in the heart.

Also, there is a difference between oppressed and possessed.

Oppression and possession are two very different things.

Oppresson is when demons are coming and going influencing you. Possession is when they stay and live through you. This is most often where illnesses come from. Your flesh is just reflecting your spirit.

Oppression is how all earthlings live. The old saying 'we all have our demons' is very real and true. We are 'all' entered daily.

Spiritualist call them 'spirit' guides. But they aren't the ones we are supposed to be listening to. However, they are there and very real and coming and going on a regular basis.

If you want freedom from spirits, you have to learn to move from God's Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.

We actually tune into demonic spirits...mostly from ignorance and all the stupid things we were taught to think and do by this world.
